A show
of pageantry, the changing of the sentries at Buckingham Palace is famous worldwide.
The new guard leaves the Wellington Barracks preceded
by a band three minutes before the change, and marches
down Birdcage Walk to the palace. The ceremony there lasts for 40 minutes, and
takes place inside the railings of the palace. Apr-Oct,
