Tucked away behind Fleet Street in the tiny Gough Square restored to its original condition is Dr Johnson's House. His home for 11 years, it is now a simple tribute to one of London's greatest and most idiosyncratic men. The house contains an amazing collection of books including the first edition Dictionary which he compiled in 1755.
