The site was first built on be Edward IV in 1470 as a Great Hall and was
used by monarchs until Henry VIII. After which time the site and the Great Hall
fell into disrepair until millionaire's Stephen and Virginia Courtauld took it
over and turned it into an
Art Deco home within a medieval building. English Heritage have restored it and
to its now a homage to art deco glamour and design. Entrance Fees
