Polka Theatre is one of the few venues in the UK which is dedicated exclusively to producing and presenting high quality theatre for young audiences. Since our doors opened in 1979, this unique venue has offered children a first taste of the thrilling, challenging and inspiring world of theatre.

Every year, over 100,000 children discover theatre at Polka. They may arrive in a school group or with their families. They may come from London or beyond. They may take their seats in the Main Auditorium or the Adventure Theatre, or take part in one of our many drama workshops and other activities. Whichever, once they step through Polka's doors, their appetite for high-quality theatre will be powerfully awakened.
