Dulwich Picture Gallery is the greatest find in London
a magnificent collection of Old Master paintings including
works by Rembrandt, Rubens, Murillo, Van Dyck, Poussin, Claude,
Watteau, Gainsborough and many others. Designed as the first
purpose-built public gallery in England by Sir John Soane
in 1811, it is considered the perfect building for showing
paintings. The Gallery is also widely known for its critically-acclaimed
temporary exhibitions.
