The Serpentine Gallery is one of London's best temporary exhibition gallery's. The gallery hold's about 4 modern and contemporary exhibitions a year ranging from Chinese Art to contemporary architecture, exhibitors have included Damien Hirst, Andy Warhol and Henry Moore. Entrance is free and the gallery has over 750,000 visitors a year. The gallery was opened in 1970 by the Arts Council and is housed in a 1934 Tea Pavilion in the centre of Kensington Gardens.
