was the home of Charles Dickens for a number of years, and
was where he created characters such as Oliver Twist, The
Artful Dodger and Nicholas Nickleby. he Dickens House Museum
was opened to the public in 1925, and houses the world's largest
collection of Dickens related material including personal
items and manuscripts.
