Blenhium Palace
is situated in Woodstock Oxford, build around the 17th century
it is now known for its splendid flowers and gardens. In 1704
the 1st Duke of Marlborough defeated the French in the near
by area and as a thank you Queen Ann build Blenheim Palace
for him. Blenheim Palace is a Baroque masterpiece with a Great
Hall, Library, State rooms and Clock Tower. All these rooms
are open to the public and have magnificent painted ceilings
and paintings.
The Palace also has splendid gardens that have been matured
over hundreds of years as well as a Butterfly House, Herb
and Lavender Garden and a Train that offer's free rides.
