London Underground
"The Tube"
is the name of London's underground system, it is by far the
best way to travel around whilst in London.
Trains start running from about 5.30am
and finish around 12.30am.
Avoid traveling
on the underground in the morning or evening rush hour 8.00am
- 9.00am & 5.00pm - 6.00pm as you can get crunched! London's
Tube lines are not referred to by colour, as many lines have
similar colours Londoners won't know what you are talking
about. Use the line's name instead, such as the Piccadilly
Line, Central Line etc. Maps are available at all tube stations
and main railway stations.
