Great Spitalfields Pancake Day Race - 020 7375 0441 The Great Spitalfields Pancake Race takes place on the day before Lent, the beginning of 40 days of fasting. Shrove Tuesday is traditionally the day that catholic people feast before fasting, many people used to give up eggs for Lent so in order to use up all the eggs people would make pancakes, this is how pancake day came about.

Masters Snooker Tournament - 020 8902 0902 If you are interested in snooker then the Masters Tournament at Wembley is the place for you. For just over a week you can see the best snooker pro's cue up and do battle.

Valentine's Day Celebrated on the 14th, Valentine's Day has become over commercialized, if you are in London on the day then you cannot avoid it!
