Mack and Mabel

When ‘hash-slinger’ Mabel Normand turns up on the set of film-maker Mack Sennett, creator of the Keystone Cops, she catches his eye and soon captures his heart. Before long, Mabel is starring in Sennett’s two-reelers and together they bring magic to the silver screen. Yet ambition, dalliance and the impending threat of changing times make for a tempestuous relationship. Romance turns to jealousy while stardom foreshadows scandal and heartbreak. But despite the odds, this inimitable pair can never escape the undeniability of their love for each other. Show starts on the 10th April 2006.
