Arsenic and Old Lace
Aldwych
London
WC2B 4LD

Arsenic And Old Lace tells the story of Mortimer Brewster, who visits his elderly aunts to inform them of his impending wedding. He is rather perturbed upon arrival to discover that the apparently docile biddies are actually mass-murderers of the most nefarious kind. The aunts live with their brother, Teddy, who believes he is Theodore Roosevelt and shouts 'charge' at any given opportunity. The play ran on Broadway for 1444 performances but is perhaps best remembered for the 1944 film version starring Cary Grant. This London revival stars Stephen Tompkinson and Michael Richards (Kramer in Seinfeld).
