Heroes is a new adaptation by Tom Stoppard
of Gerald Sibleyras' comedy which took Paris by storm two
years ago. It's 1959, and Gustave (John Hurt), Philippe (Kenn
Stott) and Henri (Richard Griffiths) reside in a military
hospital. Their days are spent, sitting on their terrace,
overlooking the cemetery to a beautiful view of the poplar
trees and beyond. Each day is taken up with their plan for
escape - could today be the day that they do?
