Former National Theatre Artistic Director, Richard Eyre directs this world premiere of a new work from Nicholas Wright. The piece, based on true facts of Vincent Van Gogh’s early life when he moved from the Netherlands to South London, transfers to the Wyndhams from the National, and also marks the British stage debut of the young Dutch actor Jochum ten Haaf, who heads the cast as the troubled artist. Eyre's most recent credits include the highly acclaimed film Iris, starring Judi Dench and Kate Winslet, which he both co-wrote and directed.
