Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?
Apollo Theatre
Shaftesbury Avenue
London
W1D 6NA

George & Martha have been married 23 years. He teaches at a small New England college run by Martha's father. Once, George's future as a possible successor to his father-in-law was bright. Now, as Martha, says, he is just a "bog" in the History Dept. On a particularly bitter night, a good looking young biology professor and his wife arrive for a night cap and soon become bloodsport in a booze-drenched evening. This Broadway revival of the Edward Albee play (famously filmed with Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton) transfers to the West End starring Kathleen Turner and Bill Irwin..
